What we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to make us stop. Written to be read rather than skimmed past.

1. Who we are
QuoteWell Health is an independent, licensed health insurance brokerage based at 6550 W Hillsborough Ave, Tampa, FL 33634. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean QuoteWell Health. "You" means anyone using this website or contacting us through it.
We are an insurance brokerage, not a government agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the federal Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicare, Medicaid, or any other government programme.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you use the quote form or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name
- Email address and phone number
- The state you live in
- The type of coverage you are looking for, your age range, and when you need coverage
- Anything else you choose to tell us by phone, email, or on a scheduled call
We ask only what an advisor needs to find you the right coverage. We do not ask for your Social Security number, financial account details, or medical records through this website.
Information collected automatically
If you accept cookies, we and our advertising partners may collect your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view on this site, and the approximate location that IP addresses imply. If you decline, this collection does not happen and the site works exactly the same.
Health information
Our quote form does not ask for medical history. If you volunteer health details to an advisor during a call or by email, we treat that information as confidential and use it only to help you find and apply for coverage. Insurance carriers conduct their own medical underwriting directly with you, under their own privacy policies.
3. Cookies and tracking
The banner you saw on your first visit is a real choice, not a formality. Advertising and analytics cookies — including the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel — do not load unless you click Accept. Choosing Decline blocks them entirely and costs you no site functionality.
We store your choice in your browser's local storage under the key
qwh_cookie_consent. That is the only thing we store without asking,
because we need it to remember not to ask again. It contains nothing but the word
"accepted" or "declined."
If you accept and later change your mind, clearing your browser's site data for this domain will reset the choice and the banner will reappear. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings, and adjust ad personalisation directly with Meta in your account settings there.
4. How we use it
We use the information described above to:
- Generate the estimated premium range you asked for
- Have a licensed advisor review your situation and contact you if you asked us to
- Identify plans you may qualify for and submit applications on your behalf
- Service your policy afterwards, including renewals and claims questions
- Respond to enquiries you send us
- Measure whether our advertising is working, if you consented to that
- Comply with insurance regulations, including keeping records of consent
5. Who we share it with
We share your information with:
- Licensed insurance advisors working with or for us, who need it to review your situation and speak with you.
- Insurance carriers, when you ask us to seek a quote or submit an application. Once your information reaches a carrier, that carrier's own privacy policy governs what they do with it.
- Service providers who operate parts of our business under contract. This currently includes our website host, the automation platform that receives form submissions, and Ringy, the customer relationship management platform where we store your enquiry and from which our advisors call, text, and email you. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Advertising platforms, if you accepted cookies. This is limited to the event data the pixel collects, and is used to measure ad performance.
- Legal and regulatory bodies, where we are required by law, subpoena, or a state insurance regulator to produce records.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. If that ever changes, we will say so here before it takes effect, and give you a way to opt out first.
6. Calls and texts
When you submit your contact details through the quote form, you give express written consent for QuoteWell Health and its licensed advisors to call and text you at the number provided about health coverage — including through an automated telephone dialing system or a prerecorded or artificial voice — for marketing purposes.
This consent is not a condition of purchase. You can buy insurance through us without agreeing to automated contact; call us instead and say so.
How we contact you
We use Ringy, a customer relationship management platform, to store your enquiry and to place calls, send text messages, and send email on our behalf. Calls and texts may originate from that platform rather than from a phone in our office, and may use automated dialing technology.
Text messages
Message frequency varies based on where you are in the process. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further texts, or HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Your consent to be texted applies only to QuoteWell Health and its licensed advisors.
Stopping contact
To stop texts, reply STOP. To stop calls, tell the advisor on any call, or email us at the address below and ask to be added to our internal do-not-call list. We honour these requests promptly and they persist across future enquiries unless you contact us again.
We record the exact wording of the consent you were shown, the date and time you submitted it, and the page you submitted it from, because insurance and telemarketing rules require us to be able to produce that record.
7. How long we keep it
If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as your policy is active and afterwards for as long as state insurance record-keeping rules require, which is generally at least five years. If you request an estimate and never become a client, we keep the enquiry for up to twenty-four months so an advisor can follow up at your next renewal window, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Give you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, where we are not required by law to keep it
- Stop contacting you
Email us at info@quotewellhealth.com and we will respond within thirty days. We will not charge you for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or a similar state statute — including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and to appeal a refused request. We honour these requests from residents of every state, regardless of whether a particular law technically applies to us, because it is simpler and fairer than checking.
Our site does not currently respond to Global Privacy Control browser signals, because advertising cookies are already blocked by default until you actively consent.
9. Security
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. We limit access to your information to the advisors and staff who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — anyone who tells you otherwise is overselling.
10. Children
This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Where you provide a dependent child's age as part of a family coverage enquiry, we collect it from you as the parent or guardian and use it only to estimate and arrange coverage for your household. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information we have already collected from you, we will tell you directly before it takes effect.
